Cookies Ingredients
The cookies contain 7 ingredients. Change some to your own. But then you get a completely different recipe.
- The basis of the cookie is whole grain wheat flour. This flour is rich in fiber. If you are not using gluten-containing foods, replace it with rice flour. I have a recipe for rice flour cookies on my website.
- Almond flour is in second place importance. It adds a magical nutty flavor. Making almond flour is easy on your own. You need to grind the peeled almonds in a blender or coffee grinder. Don’t eat nuts? Then add whole grain flour instead of almond flour.
- Oat milk is the liquid ingredient in our recipe. Any plant-based milk or water will do.
- The recipe contains vegetable oil. Choose any. Grape seed oil came across my arm.
- Sea salt and baking powder round out the ingredient list.

How to make salted almond cookies
The cooking process is very simple. We do everything in one container. Turn the oven on at 180°C/355° F. In a bowl, combine whole grain flour with almond flour, salt and baking powder. Add oat milk and vegetable oil to the flour mixture. Knead the dough. It shouldn’t stick to your hands.
After that, we form a cookie. First, we make a ball and put it on parchment on a baking sheet. Press down on the dough with the palm of your hand. Choose the thickness of the cookies yourself. It rises when baking.
On top of the raw cookies I sprinkled with coarse sea salt and ground rosemary (optional). I pressed the powder to the cookies.
We spread the cookies at a distance of 10 – 15 mm from each other. We bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Remove the finished cookies from the oven and refrigerate.
