Easy Salami Pizza

Salami Pizza

This Salami Pizza is a simple and easy recipe. Thin soft dough with pieces of salami and tomato. And all this magic is seasoned with mozzarella cheese. I love pizza in any form. Even the most minimal pizza margherita gives me great pleasure.

By the way, the dough from this recipe can be used to make a fish pie. I know you will say that a fish pie is made with potatoes. But try making a pie with dough. You will like it. And so let’s get back to our pizza. To prepare for it, you need a little time and a good mood.

Pizza Ingredients

Pizza Ingredients

All-purpose flour – the basis of the pizza dough. Before preparing the dough, be sure to sift the flour.

Water is a liquid component. The water should be warm no more than 40°C / 104°F. At a higher temperature, the yeast will not work.

Instant yeast – will make the dough airy.

Sea salt and sugar – make the dough more delicious.

Olive oil – will give the dough a soft texture.

Salami – the main character of our recipe. Without salami, the recipe will be completely different.

Mozzarella cheese – another important ingredient. I bought a whole piece of mozzarella and then grated it.

Tomato juice – will replace the sauce in the recipe today. I happened to have tomato juice in the refrigerator and decided to use it.

Tomato – thin slices will end up on top of the filling.

How to make Salami Pizza

We started making Salami Pizza with the dough. First, pour warm water into a bowl. Then add salt, sugar and yeast. Lightly stir everything with a spoon so that the sugar and salt dissolve, and the yeast is soaked in water. Next, add olive oil.

After that, add all-purpose flour to the liquid ingredients and stir everything with a spoon. When all the water is mixed with flour, start kneading the dough with your hands. I did this right in the bowl. You can also knead the dough on the table. I kneaded the dough for about 2 minutes. During this time, all the ingredients came together into one elastic lump.

Next, take the dough out of the bowl and pour some olive oil into it. Grease the bowl with the dough. Then put the dough in the bowl and cover the bowl with cling film. Put the dough in a warm place for 1 hour. The dough should rise up to the film.

When the dough has risen, turn on the oven to 250 ° C / 480 ° F and start assembling the pizza. First, you need to stretch the dough. I did this with my hands in a baking pan on parchment. Then spread the tomato juice over the dough. Add grated cheese, salami slices and tomato. Bake the pizza for 15 – 20 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the oven.

When the Salami Pizza is ready, remove the baking pan from the oven and enjoy the deliciousness.
