This Vegan Banana Chocolate Cake has a rich chocolate flavor. This dessert with a crumbly texture will please you from the first bite. I recently made a Vegan Banana Cranberry Cake. I really liked him. I decided to change the recipe a bit and make Chocolate Cake.
I confess to you that chocolate is my weakness. I add it to different desserts. At the same time, there is one nuance. I make my own chocolate. The recipe for delicious chocolate without refined sugar can be found here.
But back to our today’s hero. This Vegan Banana Chocolate Cake is delicious. No exotic ingredients are required for its preparation. Everything is pretty simple.
Vegan Banana Chocolate Cake Ingredients
All the ingredients of our recipe are divided into two groups. These are dry and liquid. Some of them can be replaced at your discretion.
Dry
The basis of this group is whole grain wheat flour. If you don’t like gluten, replace it with oatmeal. Oatmeal can be made from flakes. To do this, grind oatmeal in a blender or coffee grinder.
The sweetener in the Vegan Banana Chocolate Cake recipe is coconut sugar. You use what you like. Also in the dry group are cacao powder and chocolate chips. And some baking powder.
Liquid Ingredients
There are only three liquid ingredients. These are refined sunflower oil, banana puree and vanilla extract. Refined coconut oil can be used instead of sunflower oil. Or any odorless vegetable oil. The banana in our recipe is both liquid and flavoring. I love banana desserts. She has a magical scent.
Also for baking Chocolate Cake you will need an 18 cm square mold and parchment.
How to make Vegan Banana Chocolate Cake
The cooking process is very simple. First turn on the oven 180°C/350°F. Then put parchment on the bottom and sides of the mold.
Then mix whole wheat flour, almond flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, cacao powder and chocolate chips in a bowl. Now add refined sunflower oil, banana puree and vanilla extract to the flour mixture. Mix everything well.
Put the dough into a mold and bake the Chocolate Cake for 25 – 30 minutes. Cool the finished dessert on the table. The cake turned out to be crumbly, so take it out of the mold carefully. Store Vegan Banana Chocolate Cake in a tightly closed container on the counter for three days and in the refrigerator for seven days. For long-term storage, place in the freezer.
